Science Class

7th Oct 2020

This month in Science we were learning all about the human skeleton. Our skeleton holds us upright and without it we would be soft and floppy. We discovered some interesting facts like …Did you know a baby has more bones than an adult? That’s correct, as we grow our bones grow into each other so when you are an adult you have 206 bones, but a baby has about 300! We read how the Femur (thigh) bone is the biggest bone in our body and the ‘Stapes’ which is located in your ear is the smallest. We learned a lot about our skeleton, and we hope you enjoy looking at the skeletons we created in class.
