St George’s NS was originally founded in 1859. We expanded significantly in 2007 and moved to a new building in 2008.
We are a co-educational school with 400 pupils, 31 teaching staff and 11 snas under the patronage of Church of Ireland. Being Church of Ireland, we seek to express the beliefs and scriptural values of Church of Ireland among which are honesty, justice, fairness, respect and openness to all others. We therefore pride ourselves on being a happy, welcoming place where each child feels valued and that she/he belongs. We are a language school. Within our community there are 54 different languages.
