🐦 All About Robins 🐦

As part of our work on Biodiversity, we learned about the parts of a tree. We made 3-D models of trees and labelled the parts. Next we decided to learn all about Robins, because our class keep spotting them around the school. We then created Fact Files with all of the information that we had learned! We then decided that we really wanted to create Bird Feeders for our gardens. We made these by firstly making up some gelatine. We then got some special food especially for birds like Robins and Finches- it had seeds, nuts and even some worms in it! Next we mixed the gelatine and the bird seed. Finally we placed the mixture into molds to dry. To finish we got a nesting box for outside our classroom! We couldn't believe it when a few days later we saw two little Blue Tits moving in!
