February was the month of Art Nouveau. We looked at the work of Gaudi and his mosaics. We then experimented with a few different techniques to try and create some mosaics of our own. We used ribbon scraps to make lizards and dyed pasta to make some mini mosaic tiles. We also learned about Klimt and the Tree of Life and had a go at designing our own trees of life. We added sequins to mimic the ornamental nature of his work.
