Biodiversity 🌏 🌱 🌊
12th Feb 2026
1st class pupils have been learning about biodiversity and why it matters for our planet. After watching a recent Picker Pals zoom presentation, we learned how people, plants, animals and insects all work together to keep nature healthy.
We explored how small actions, like reducing litter and caring for local habitats, can help protect biodiversity. We are looking forward to continuing this learning and discovering more about the natural world around us.
We enjoyed working collaboratively in groups, especially for a Kahoot quiz on biodiversity and working together on our projects.
