Double the Trees, Double the Cheer!

15th Dec 2025
Santa’s helpers have nothing on Rangers 2 this week! Our classroom has been transformed into a festive wonderland, complete with not one, but two magnificent Christmas trees ready for decorating.

Our pupils took on the important task of adorning both trees with baubles, tinsel, and sparkly stars. While it looked like a festive party, the decorating process was a wonderful opportunity for targeted learning. Our class practised careful decision-making, discussing which decorations should go where to make our trees balanced and beautiful. Handling delicate baubles and carefully placing hooks required superb fine motor control and a gentle touch.

We also worked on our teamwork and communication skills, sharing resources and admiring each other's contributions. Counting decorations, recognising colours and patterns, and sequencing our decorating steps all added a layer of festive maths to the fun.

It is safe to say our classroom is now brimming with festive spirit, thanks to the hard work and joyful collaboration of our Rangers 2 elves.
