Here in Room 4 we took on a design and make challenge to celebrate Engineering Week. We worked in groups to construct flat and then upright structures using spaghetti and marshmallows. Before undertaking the challenge, we predicted that a cube or cuboid would be easiest to construct. However, we soon realised that the sturdiest structure we could build was a pyramid. We had fun coming to this conclusion and enjoyed the leftover marshmallows too :)
