Exploring Ancient Secrets: Mummifying Apples with Young Scientists in 3rd Class!

6th Apr 2024

Greetings, aspiring scientists and curious minds! 🍏🔬

During Engineering Week, our classroom transformed into a hub of discovery and experimentation as we delved into the age-old method of preservation—mummification! With a twinkle of curiosity in our eyes, we embarked on a fascinating journey to uncover the secrets of preserving food, and our chosen subjects? Apples!

Armed with knowledge and a sense of adventure, we set out to mummify our apples, eager to witness the magic of preservation unfold before our eyes. The process was as exciting as it was educational, as we carefully followed the steps of ancient civilizations to create our modern-day mummies.

From wrapping the apples in layers of protective materials to observing the changes over time, our young scientists were fully immersed in the experiment. We watched with bated breath as the apples underwent transformation, marveling at the wonders of science and the ingenuity of ancient techniques.

And the results? Nothing short of amazing! Our mummified apples stood the test of time, showcasing the power of preservation and the importance of understanding the world around us. It was a hands-on lesson in history, science, and the endless possibilities of exploration.

As we reflect on our mummification experiment, we're reminded of the importance of curiosity, experimentation, and the joy of discovery. In 3rd class, every day is an opportunity to unleash our inner scientists and explore the wonders of the world around us.

Until next time, may your curiosity lead you to new horizons, your experiments spark endless discoveries, and your passion for learning continue to grow like the branches of an ancient apple tree! 🍏🔬
