We spent the last two weeks learning a little bit about Travellers and Gypsies.
We started our learning by completing some fact finding exercises, having interesting discussions and reading and answering comprehension questions.
Ms.Corrie then showed us some interesting videos about the history of Travellers. We enjoyed reading a story called The Lost Homework by Richard O’Neill. For art we made some gypsy wagon models.
We have learned that GRTHM is a great time of year that celebrates the richness of these communities.
