Hopping Away for PE!

20th Nov 2025
If you passed our PE lesson, you would have seen a truly hilarious and energetic sight – the Rangers 2 Sack Race Championships were in full swing! Our PE lesson was filled with laughter, bouncing, and plenty of enthusiastic hopping.

While the main goal appeared to be crossing the finish line without toppling over (a challenge we all embraced with good humour), this classic activity was a powerhouse for developing key skills. Our pupils were building gross motor skills and leg strength with every jump. The challenge of coordinating both feet and maintaining balance inside the sack was a fantastic lesson in coordination and body awareness.

Just as important, we were practising resilience, learning that sometimes you can hop, sometimes you can wobble, and getting back up is what truly counts. The cheers and support for classmates also showed fantastic teamwork and sportsmanship.

It was a brilliant lesson in physical education, perseverance, and pure fun. A huge well done to all our athletes for jumping right in.
