November - Science
11th Feb 2026
Our class had great fun exploring Science through hands-on experiments. We investigated how acids and bases react by mixing vinegar and bread soda, watching the fizzing reaction that produced CO₂ gas. The children were fascinated to see science happening right in front of them. We also linked our Science work with History by constructing our own miniature aqueduct using cardboard and plastic. This model helped us understand the incredible engineering behind Roman aqueducts, which carried clean water from the mountains to busy cities. (Ms. Whelan)
