Rangers 2 Celebrate World Book Day in Style!

5th Mar 2026
What a magical day we've had in Rangers 2! The classroom was transformed into a living storybook as our pupils arrived dressed as their favourite book characters, ready to celebrate World Book Day in the most wonderful way.

From beloved classics to modern favourites, our characters truly brought the pages to life. While the costumes were absolutely delightful to see, today was about so much more than just dressing up. Our pupils proudly shared who they came as, building their confidence and communication skills as they spoke about their chosen books. We explored the characters' adventures, discussing their personalities, choices, and what made their stories special.

This celebration sparked rich conversations about storytelling, helping our pupils understand narrative structure, character development, and the joy that reading brings. For many, choosing their character was an exercise in making meaningful connections with literature, developing comprehension skills that go far beyond the page.

It was wonderful to see the excitement, imagination, and sheer love of reading shining through every costume. A massive well done to our Rangers 2 readers and their families for such creative efforts. Happy World Book Day to all!
