Reaching New Heights!
20th Nov 2025
The classroom was a hub of construction and engineering as we took on a mighty challenge: building skyscrapers with Lego! The concentration was palpable as our pupils became architects and builders, creating towering structures block by block.
While it looked like we were simply enjoying our favourite building bricks, this activity was a masterclass in key learning skills. Our young engineers were developing their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination with every precise brick they placed. They were learning the fundamentals of stable structures, discovering through trial and error what it takes to make a tower stand tall without toppling.
We also practised problem-solving, planning, and perseverance. If a design wobbled, they had to figure out why and how to reinforce it. It was a fantastic exercise in resilience and creative thinking.
Well done to the construction crew for building some truly impressive sky-high creations
