The magic of storytelling came alive in Rangers 2 recently as we celebrated World Book Day in spectacular fashion! Our classroom was transformed into a colourful world of imagination, filled with beloved characters from the pages of our favourite books.
From brave adventurers to mischievous animals, from classic fairy tale figures to modern picture book heroes, our pupils arrived dressed to impress. The effort and creativity from our class was truly wonderful to see, and the smiles on our children's faces said it all.
While the costumes brought joy and excitement, this special day was rich with learning opportunities. Our pupils developed confidence and communication skills as they introduced their characters to classmates, explaining who they were and why they loved them. We explored the stories behind each costume, discussing plot points and character motivations that deepened comprehension and engagement with literature.
